ABOUT DUSTY
During my childhood, I learned about money out of necessity. I grew up in rural West Virginia in a working-class family of six, where we didn’t receive an allowance. If we wanted to buy or do something, we were told to figure it out ourselves. As a result, I started my own lawn care business in the neighborhood at the age of twelve and continued running it through graduate school, learning how to earn, save and grow money.

In 2010, after completing my master’s degree (MBA) at West Virginia University, I joined Edward Jones and opened a branch office in Delaware, Ohio. Becoming a limited partner in 2019 was a significant milestone that solidified my dedication to our clients.

My passion for educating and guiding clients is fueled by my unwavering commitment to personal growth. I obtained the AAMS™ designation from the College for Financial Planning in 2013, further enhancing my dedication. Building on this foundation, I earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, CFP®, designation in 2016, demonstrating my commitment to providing high-quality financial guidance.

In addition to my professional pursuits, I am actively involved in the Delaware community, which is very important to my family. I have been involved as a past president of the Delaware Rotary Club, past chair of the Delaware Chamber of Commerce Board and chair of the Delaware Walk to End Alzheimer’s committee. Through these roles, I strive to make positive contributions to the well-being of the community. My family and I also find fulfillment as active members of the Delaware Christian Church.

Family is of utmost importance to me. My wife, Jessie, has been my partner and source of support for the past 12 years. Together, we have been blessed with two wonderful daughters, Jordan and Annie, who bring immense joy to our lives and remind me of what truly matters. During our free time, we enjoy attending events like First Friday, visiting the zoo and exploring the various attractions in central Ohio.
