SERVING OPPORTUNITIES
Greeter
Greeters welcome all who walk through the doors at DCC with a smile and respect. They assist guests, answer questions and give directions in an effort to facilitate a welcoming environment. They serve on a monthly rotation.
Helping Hands
These volunteers prepare meals or dishes for families with new babies, had a surgery or difficult time, funerals.  If able, run errands, yard work and help move.
 
Safety Team
They help to provide a safe and secure environment for everyone attending DCC services and events. The team is asked to participate in basic first aid & CPR, along with any training throughout the year. They serve on a monthly rotation.
 
 
Coffee Cafe
Cafe team is responsible for setting up the café, brewing coffee, greeting guests warmly, replenishing supplies and cleaning up the café at the end of services. They serve on a monthly rotation.
Prayer Ministry
A team of dedicated members whose passion is to manifest the power of Christ through prayer.  They will pray for our church, the people who enter our building, and our community.
Host
Host team is responsible for chair set up, communion prep and distribution, attending to exterior doors, ushering guests and overall clean up in the auditorium. They serve on a monthly rotation.
 
Nursery
This volunteer will provide dependable, safe, secure, and nurturing care to ages birth  – 18 months.  A good nursery workers will be kind, patient, and loving.  Some duties may include playing, changing diapers, feeding, rocking, reading, and showing them the love of Jesus.  Must be over the age of 13 years.
Preschool Volunteer
The preschool volunteer will care, nurture, play, and reinforce Bible lesson teaching.  There’s no preparation required, a good volunteer is a friend and helper for the kids.  They ask questions, take kids seriously, and encourage them throughout class.
Elementary Large Group
The Elementary volunteer will lead a small group of elementary age kids.  There’s no preparation required.  A good crew leader is a friend and helper for the kids.  They ask questions, take kids seriously, and encourage them.
Toddler Volunteer
Put on your running shoes!  This fun and energetic age is ready to play and laugh.  A good volunteer will play, change diapers, assist in potty training, read, an shoe the love of Jesus.
 
Elementary Bible Teacher
This volunteer will prepare and teach a lesson.  They are well organized, mature in fait, disciple’s kids, creative, fun and energetic.  May prep a game or activity as needed.
DCC Kids AV Tech/Worship
This volunteer will assist in running videos and slides as needed for Elementary worship.  They prepare and execute dance motions to new songs.  They are energetic, kind, and encouraging.  They may also help in the classroom as needed.
Worship Team
Comprised of the vocalists and band. Responsible for leading worship music on Sundays and other special events. Vocalists should be able to sing on pitch and sing harmonies. The band is comprised of acoustic, electric, and bass guitar, keyboards/synthesizer and drums, and other instrumentalists who may play during special occasions. Band members should be able to play from chord or rhythm charts. There is an audition process in order to join the worship team. 
Production Team
The production team manages all the audio and video elements of the worship service. Serving opportunities include: Audio Technician (running sound in house), Projection (operating slides, lighting, and videos), and Video Production/Live Stream (assisting with running video and audio for the live stream).
Creative Team
Are you gifted at hand lettering?
This group assists in creating our chalk wall in the café.. 
 
 
 
DCC Kids volunteer positions are on a quarterly schedule.  You can choose to serve 1-4 times a month based on your preference.  DCC Kids area also requires a background Check.
 
 
All DCC volunteers require a background check. 
Worship Ministry volunteer opportunities are open to active church participants high school age and older.  Worship volunteers serve once a month minimum except season musicians and the creative team.
