TEAMS
- A minimum of 2 players per team
- A maximum of 3 players with the 3rd player being a sub
- Players must be at least 16 years or older to participate
DIMENSIONS/DISTANCE
- Boards are 24in x 48in
- Spaced 27 ft apart from front edge
- Pitching boxes are 36in x 48in, players will leave their box after each toss to ensure 6ft distance.
BAGS
- Bags are to be 6in x 6in, weighing approx. 1lb
- Bags will be provided to be used
- If a player wants to bring their own bags, they must all be the same color for that team (i.e you cannot bring 1 blue 1 green 1 yellow and 1 red)
STANCE
- Players cannot pass the foul line when throwing. The foul line is an imaginary line extending from the front of the boards
- Partners shall stand at opposite cornhole boxes on the same side, from the perspective of a third person, and face each other, so there is no advantage given to one team.
SCORING
- 1 point is awarded to any bag on the board; 3 points are awarded to any bag that goes through the hole. (Bags hanging over the hole still only count as 1)
- Any bag that is in contact with the ground is worth 0. Any bag that makes contact with the ground and then lands on the board is worth 0 and must be removed from the board.
- Scoring is done by “net” or “subtraction” method. If Team 1 has 3 bags on and 1 bag in the hole (6pts) and Team 2 puts 3 bags in the hole and misses 1 (9pts) then Team 2 is award 3 points.
- First team to score 21 wins. (No “bust” or win by 2 rules)
